Twentieth Century Fox has announced plans to release a repackaged version of its Buffy the Vampire Slayer – The Complete Series DVD boxset.

The set will contain all seven seasons of Joss Whedon’s cult series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar as a young woman destined to protect the world from vampires and other demons.

The new collection will be available in the US on October 12 with a list price of $199.98, reports TV Shows on DVD.

The packaging will reportedly be wider than the complete series set released in 2006. It will also feature new cover art.
